Wonderful food and staff! I absolutely enjoy stopping by here on my way through. The wings taste like they change their oil on a regular basis and don't have that bitter old oil taste like other wing places! All in all I have this place a 10/10
The fish sandwich is the best one in town, and the staff is fantastic. Food is cooked to order so everything always comes out hot! We especially love Heather :)
I heard from a nurse in the office that South Side's wings were "a little small" and so I balked at the ideal of trying them out, but one of the nurse techs the other night in the hospital was having her dinner before starting her shift and she invited me to try some of her wings. She was so pleased that she got "all of those wings" of just under $25, and I'm talking at least 3-4 boxes of different flavors for her at the night team on that ward to share, and I must say these wings were not teeny tinys and were excellent size. I tried the Garlic-Parmesan and the Lemon Pepper, which is always my favorite wing, and these prompted me after rounding that day to call them and place my own order for dinner. Their wings are the absolute best! This is a small-town, family-owned establishment and they also have an assortment of deserts are are home-made, drinks, and you can get either celery or carrots with your wings. I love, love, loved the wings and they are, no doubt, one of my new, favorite wing stops in my work area. I fancy myself a little bit of a wing connoisseur, and they have Wise Guys in Griffin beat and Just Wings, which have nicely flavored wings but they are just so small. Wingstop is still my first love, but I think South Side in Thomaston is now my first-love once removed. I also loved the slice of home made Pecan Pie I had for dessert. They also have sweet potatoe pie, brownies, and other offerings as wing. You can dine in or carry out. Thanks for an excellent dinner after rounding at Upson Regional Medical Center.
Great wings! Curly fries are good. Service is always good. The appetizer sampler is our favorite.
